Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my portfolio. My name is Michelle, and I am a proud Puerto Rican from Orlando, FL. I am an educator, director, and playwright who loves to create stories on stage and in the classroom with people of all ages. I spent the last three years as the Theatre program Director at Patrick Henry High School, where I taught classes on theatre, Entertainment Design, and Film. I am currently based in Morgantown/Pittsburgh and ready to get involved in the WV/PA theatre scene.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my MFA, specializing in Theatre for Young Audiences, and received my Bachelor’s in Theatre, specializing in Musical Theatre, at Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have worked as Education Associate at Mill Mountain Theatre, and in the Education Departments of the American Repertory Theatre, The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, The Orlando Repertory Theatre, and other non-profit organizations.

As a playwright, I was a finalist in Childsplay’s Write Now Competition, and I have been commissioned to write plays for Endstation Theatre and the Orlando Repertory Theatre. I have also performed as a professional actress across Central and South Florida, and I was last seen as a guest artist for Hollin University’s Playlab.
